The concept of the ‘Left’ and the ‘Right’ in politics is a real problem.

• It skews our perspective of politics;

• creates a frame for our thinking that polarises political opinions, constrains political imagination and encourages political tribalism – it obstructs consensus. It is,

• therefore, a big problem in addressing important political issues and

• is an obstacle to the effective political management of the country, it’s economy, health, security, education, and everything else.
