I’m rarely surprised by the lack of comprehensive news coverage in the UK media. I’m used to it, but their failure on this occasion is shocking. If you want to know what’s going on in the world, go to Al Jezeera, France 24 or Euronews (and I’m a staunch Brexiteer!), not the BBC.
The British media is obsessing over Boris Johnson’s party to the exclusion of almost everything else. I don’t say it’s not newsworthy, but for God’s sake, is it so important that the buildup to what may be the largest invasion the world has seen since WWII goes almost unreported?
Yesterday (Wednesday 26th January) Ambassador Sullivan, US ambassador in Moscow, delivered the response of NATO and the US to Russia’s earlier security demands and suddenly the diplomatic rhetoric has heated up significantly, and NATO military land, sea and air deployments are reinforcing the Baltic States.
